The annual Port Fairy Belfast Lions Club Art Show and Textiles Display will begin with an opening night on December 27.
The show will run until January 5 and will be held at the Port Fairy Senior Citizens Clubrooms.
Money raised from the show will go toward the Port Fairy Belfast Lions Club fundraising campaign for the installation of a liberty swing at the proposed new playground at Railway Place.
Art show co-ordinator and Lions club member Keith Gibson said the popularity of the art show continues to growth.
"This year we have had to drop the maximum paintings from each artists from five to four," Mr Gibson said.
"We had 242 entries last year, which was a bit too much, so we have gone back to 220 as our cut-off point.
"We have artists from all over Victoria and into South Australia, and the quality of work is amazing.
"The art show is such a good thing to have happening in the town over the Christmas and new year period.
"Those days that are not hot enough to go to the beach, those are the ones where people are looking for something else and the art show is a very popular alternative."
