Give the gift of variety with a Lighthouse Theatre voucher

What better gift is there than a night out with excellent entertainment?

The Lighthouse Theatre is south west Victoria's premier venue for performing arts and 2020 has some fantastic shows on offer.

If it is music, theatre, classical or comedy you are after, the Lighthouse Theatre has something on offer for everyone.

Not sure what to choose? Get a gift voucher and leave the choosing up to someone else.

Lighthouse Theatre service manager Xavier Dannock said giving the gift of entertainment with a voucher was a popular choice for many people.

"Our theatre offers shows for everyone, which makes it a great gift," he said.

"Especially those hard-to-buy-for people.

"And, unlike many other vouchers, ours don't expire so there is no pressure to use it within a year."

The 2020 theatre season launched on December 5, meaning there will be plenty for voucher recipients to choose from across the spectrum of theatre and performance.

There is also plenty of shows already on sale, including Superband coming in February to perform The Songs of Elton John & Billy Joel; Melinda Schneider performing her show Farewell to Doris, a tribute to the legend Doris Day; Taylor Henderson; John Williamson; and the Robertson Brothers returning with their hit 60s variety show.

"New performances are constantly booking in, so even if there isn't something to suit your interests now, there is sure to be something come up soon," Mr Dannock said.

Situated in the centre of the CBD, the Lighthouse Theatre is at the artistic and cultural heart of Warrnambool's local community.

More than 60,000 people come through the doors each year to experience and celebrate the arts with a mix of professional, community and commercial touring performances and events.

All shows are listed on the theatre's website www.lighthousetheatre.com.au or via the box office on 03 5559 4999.
