Warrnambool Mermaids coach Katie O'Keefe was thrilled to watch two of her long-time teammates put on an absolute clinic in the Country Basketball League on the weekend.

The Mermaids made it six wins in a row, defeating Geelong United 81-62 and Bellarine Storm 101-83 to jump into first spot.
O'Keefe was impressed by veterans Louise Brown and Nicole Gynes in the victory against the finals-bound Storm on Sunday.
"To come away with that win was brilliant," she said.
"Louise Brown and Nicole Gynes were just phenomenal.
"It was like they were back to their old school basketball.
"They just dominated the game."

Brown knocked down 26 points, including four three-pointers at St Joseph's Primary School.
Gynes hit four three-pointers of her own on the way to 25 points.
O'Keefe, who chipped in with 20 points, said she had a ball playing alongside the duo.
"Today (Sunday) was the stand out," she said.
"I grew up playing with them, it was like we were in under 12s and under 14s again."
The Mermaids mentor was also thrilled with Jacqui Bowman's contribution.
The gun netballer filled in for the Mermaids on Saturday and Sunday.
O'Keefe said it was great to have her experienced players on board.
She said they were good role models and her younger players could learn techniques from them.
The Mermaids play the Horsham Lady Hornets on Saturday at St Joseph's Primary School.
The Warrnambool Seahawks fell 109-76 to Geelong United before losing 76-71 against Bellarine Storm.
The men's team is sitting eighth on the table.
