Last year's calendar made $21,000 for the Warrnambool-based charity but this year they are hoping to raise more.
Only about 300 copies of the bird calendar are left for people to purchase.
Photographer Perry Cho, of Patient Eye Photography, said the calendar featured a photo taken in Victoria of a crimson chat bird that was usually is only seen further north.
"It's a bird that is normally found in inland Australia but because of the massive drought around Queensland and New South Wales, for the first time they have come south of the divide," he said.
"I drove four hours to Hopetoun to capture it."
Mr Cho said being able to donate the proceeds to Let's Talk was important because mental health was an issue that meant a lot to him.
"In my line of work I deal with a lot of people that are stressed or suffer from mental health," he said.
"It's my way of giving back to the community - Warrnambool has been very good to me, my family and my firm."
Mr Cho said people were more willing to donate to charities for other illnesses, but it was harder to get people to support mental health fundraisers.
This year's calendar was sponsored by 23 different businesses with Breakwater Insurance covering the printing cost.
