Hamilton police Sergeant Paul Stanhope said the teenager would be charged with a number of offences, including theft, criminal damage and aggravated littering.
He said the young man had been involved in similar offending previously, but this time he would be summoned to appear in the Hamilton Magistrates Court.
"Alcohol is believed to be a significant contributing factor in his offending," he said.
"We want everyone to enjoy themselves but anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated. Some people just should not consume alcohol," he said.
Anyone who witnesses anti-social behaviour should report it to their local police station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
