GEOFF Withers sang the praises of apprentice jockey Georgina Cartwright after she guided Unrealistic to his second Dunkeld Cup win in three years on Saturday.

Unrealistic beat Okie by a long neck in the $45,000 race with last year's winner Penny To Sell back in third place.
The Warrnambool-based trainer said it was exciting to win the Dunkeld Cup twice in three years.
"I've got to give all the credit to Georgina for the win," Withers said. "I think she's a very underrated jockey. I've watched her career closely since she won the 2017 Dunkeld on Unrealistic for me.
"Both wins are due to to top rides by Georgina. It's a massive thrill to win the cup again.
"I'm only a small trainer with a couple of horses in work. I set Unrealistic at this race a few months ago and for the planning to come off is really exciting.
"I thought I had him pretty right to win another Dunkeld Cup after his third placing in the Ararat Cup last week."

The popular trainer said Unrealistic will have a short break before being set for more country cups.
"I'll give him about three weeks break because he's had three runs in three weeks," Withers said.
"He's deserves a little break. I think the key to his success is he runs best when he's down in the weights."
From his 53 starts Unrealistic has won five races. The seven-year-old took his stake earnings to more then $162,000 with his Dunkeld Cup victory.
Jockeys Jack Hill and Cartwright shared the riding honours at the popular once-a-year meeting with doubles. Hill was successful on Touch Of Paradise and Vahvuus while Cartwright's other winner was Volum.
