A win in the grand final against Brisbane Blaze on Saturday would also seal an almost perfect season for the Hockey Victoria-affiliated club, who only suffered one loss across seven games.
The first Hockey One grand finals will take place at Hockey Club Melbourne's home pitch at the State Netball and Hockey Centre.

Ratcliffe, who now lives and works in Western Australia, has played a major hand in HC Melbourne's impressive first season in the new national competition, scoring six goals in seven games.
The 22-year-old's top moment came in a dramatic semi-final against Canberra Chill last weekend.
The star striker scored the only goal of the game during the penalty shootout before HC Melbourne and Hockeyroos goal number one goalkeeper Rachael Lynch starred to stop all five of Chill's penalties.
The Hockey One Women's grand final is set to start at 4pm. HC Melbourne finished as minor premiers after the regular season while their decider opponent finished just below them in second.
