Punctuality on the Warrnambool train line has continued to drop since August, with less than 90 per cent of trains arriving on time last month.

V/Line's latest performance figures show 89.1 per cent of Warrnambool line services arrived at their destination in October, down .5 per cent from the month before.
A V/Line spokesman said the main reason for the delays was an incident where a car struck a boom gate in the Geelong area.
"While it's encouraging to see punctuality improve significantly on the same time last year, there's still more that needs to be done," he said.
The October result is the ninth time this year the service has failed to exceed V/Line's punctuality target of 92 per cent - a result that has been reached just 12 times in the past 120 months.
The target is measured on time to 10 minutes 59 seconds.
The service exceeded the target in June by less than one per cent. It was the best performance recorded on the line since April 2018.
Before that, the target had not been reached since October 2011.
South West Coast MP Roma Britnell said Warrnambool line customers were continuing to deal with late and cancelled trains.
"What has happened to the upgrade of the Warrnambool line? Why have we not heard anything about when the state government plans to spend the money given to it by the federal government to get the Warrnambool line back on track?" she said.
"The longer we wait to get those upgrades happening, the further punctuality will decline.
"This is something that people have been speaking with me about for a long time and I have raised it several times with the minister. It's pleasing to see they have finally listened. The Warrnambool line service should not be treated as a commuter service.
"Daniel Andrews has his priorities completely wrong, while regional rail passengers are struggling to get home on time, he is focused on making sure his city based bureaucrats are well looked after."
The government has allocated $114 million to upgrade the service, with works expected to allow modern VLocity carriages to run on the line.
The Standard has asked the government several times to indicate when the VLocity carriages would run but no date has been given.
