Services were held by the RSL at the Railway Place in Port Fairy and at the war memorial in the Koroit Botanical Gardens.
Members of the RSL were joined by school children, members of the Moyne Shire Council and the general public to honour those who served.
At the Port Fairy Cemetery, an official dedication took place for a Lone Pine tree which was planted four years ago and is now a mature, thriving addition to the town's resting place.
Residents at Moyneyana House in Port Fairy added to Remembrance Day celebrations through their creative skills.
A group of residents knitted and crocheted woollen poppies that are on display in the Port Fairy RSL Hall window.
The display was the culmination of a three-month project, with plans in place for the group to continue their work, teaming with members of the community along the way.
