The theme of the children's art section at the show's pavillion is The Hungry Caterpillar.
Students from Koroit's two primary schools have thrown themselves into bringing the theme to life, with a swag of creative caterpillars to be on display at the show.
Koroit Show secretary/treasurer Julie Houlihan said the involvement of the schools was important.
"With a small country show like Koroit it really is all about bringing the community together for the day," Mrs Houlihan said.
"We don't put a fee on children entering their work in the pavillion competitions.
"We want to encourage them to put in their art, craft, cooking, vegetables, whatever it is. It's a great way to form a connection to the community."
Mrs Houlihan said there would be a large array of free children's activities at the show, making it an affordable family day.
