Punters took advantaged of the clear afternoon skies and made the most of the racing and live entertainment.
As always, Fashions on the Field showed off the latest trends and the immense effort ladies and gentleman put in to their racing outfits.
Many of the eye-catching outfits features bright and contrasting colours with pinks being a recurring trend on the track.
Judge and 'Millinery and Race Wear For Sale' founder Leah Habel said it was hard to pick the best dressed.
"We looked for and original and stylish fashions that are appropriate for the day," she said.
"The winner had the complete look from head to toe.
"I just love the creativity that comes out in Fashions on the Fields events."
Jasmin Fitzgerald from Bannockburn took out 'Lady of the Day' with her layered dress in shades of purple and pinks from 'Lainie Brookman Couture' in Geelong. Ms Fitzgerald completed her look with strappy black heels from 'Zoe Wittner' and a striking headpiece from 'Rebecca Share'.
Geelong's Eliza Icke won 'Best Millinery' with her fascinator from 'Millinery by Mel' situated in far north Queensland. Her bright pink outfit was custom-made by 'Live Love Race' in Western Australia.
The top five entrants to Fashions of the Fields sponsored by Deep Blue Hotel and Hot Springs were Luke Fenech in a handsome pink and black suit, Sharon Wilson wore a bright blue, yellow and white striped gown and Melanie Wade from Horsham had a feminine pink ensemble.
