A Heytesbury district man who threatened to send intimate images of his former partner to her work place has been charged by police.

Warrnambool police Sergeant Greg Cressall said the man was arrested, interviewed, charged and remanded in custody overnight Wednesday to appear in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court today for a bail/remand hearing.
The charges include stalking, using a carriage service to harass and intentionally threatening to distribute intimate images.
Sergeant Cressall said the couple had separated and the man was accused of threatening to put the images on the internet and send them to the woman's work place.
The man is known to police.
