The Wolves scored $4000 after they were guaranteed $1000 for being the club of the round and scored another $3000 after their nominated home side, Melbourne City, banged home three goals against Wellington Phoenix on Sunday.

Gasper, who is a devoted Melbourne City fan, was on hand to celebrate every goal the citizens put in the back of the net as they charged to a 3-2 victory.

The club's leader said the new portable goals would help out the Wolves' army of volunteers greatly.

"This year the rules changed around U12s and they now play nine-versus-nine on a smaller pitch with smaller goals," he said.

"We bought some that needed to be built up each week and it took time away from the volunteers that we have so we've decided to get some portable metal goals that just need to be wheeled into position."
