Warrnambool police divisional response unit officers and crime investigation unit detectives executed a warrant at a Terang address at 8.30am on Monday.
Items believed to be from an Alvie burglary were found at the home.
A 54-year-old Terang woman was arrested, charged with trafficking ice and possessing stolen property and has been released on bail to appear in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court during February next year.
Detective Acting Sergeant Elissa Smith, of the Warrnambool police divisional response unit, said the woman had made full admission to trafficking methamphetamine between February and the end of September.
It will be alleged the woman is a user/dealer.
The wanted man was not present at the Terang address but a vehicle he was driving was soon after located in Warrnambool.
"Police will allege there were two evade police incidents while the man was driving back between Warrnambool and Terang," Acting Sergeant Smith said.
"The man was eventually arrested at a Hampden Street address in Terang about 3.30pm."
Police allege the man was wanted for questioning in relation to burglaries committed in Melbourne, Point Cook, Norlane and Camperdown.
He has also been charged with other driving offences, including an evade police in Camperdown on Sunday.
His lawyer Ian Pugh appeared in Warrnambool Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
Mr Pugh said the man was in the police station cells and did not want to be brought to court.
He said his client was a regular ice user and was hoping to be admitted to a residential rehabilitation facility.
Mr Pugh said the man was released from jail for similar offending on August 22.
The man was remanded in custody and will appear in court again on January 6 next year.
