Port Fairy Theatre Group is putting on the play.
Graham, who is the group's president, said the cast of 10 and crew of the same number had been preparing for the production since August.
"It is just such a lovely bunch of people to work with, they are so enthusiastic," she said.
"The cast and crew have a real passion for local theatre and it is very much a team effort to bring a production like this together."
The cast includes Bianca Schultz, Luke Bartlett, Judy Lumsden, Kat Sabel, Lil Dwyer, Paul Bucci, Eila Lyon, Warren Easley, Jesse Hartwich and Kath Harper.
Graham has a strong track record of directing quality local theatre, selling out a series of Port Fairy Theatre Group shows of The Vicar of Dibley in 2017.
My In-Laws Are Outlaws is a comedy written Devon Williamson from New Zealand.
Graham said the play was chosen because it suited the Port Fairy Theatre Group.
"Devon writes for community theatre in New Zealand and he knows what suits the needs of those groups and audiences," she said.
"A comedy that is well done does have a lot of appeal.
"In our rehearsals we have been focusing on what makes good comedy timing.
"The show also has some dramatic moments so it allows the actors to perform within a wide range."
Graham is confident her cast and crew can deliver a show to remember.
She is also thrilled with the Lecture Hall as its venue.
"It holds 119 people so it is a great size for community theatre and it's a lovely space," Graham said.
"We are very lucky to have a venue like this available to us.
"Hopefully we will have a lot of local people come along for a look and also visitors to the town."
The opening show will be on Friday at 7.30pm and will be followed by performances on Saturday at 2pm and 7.30pm and Sunday at 2pm.
Tickets for My In-Law Are Outlaws are available from the Port Fairy Newsagency or online at trybooking with adults $25, concession $20 and children $12.
