The Cobden community turned out in force for the 24th annual Spring Festival street parade despite the wet and windy conditions.

Hundreds of people lined Cobden's Curdie Street to watch the display from a wide-range of community groups.
The inaugural king Tony 'Pies' Malone and queen Alma MacDonald said it was an honour to be named as the first festival monarchs.
"It was very pleasant, the sun was shining, and it was wonderful to see all of the people waving this morning," Mrs MacDonald said.
"And the motorbike was really, really comfortable. I've been in the parade several times but never as comfortable as that."
Spring Festival street parade coordinator Sheralee Murdie said she was very pleased with the number of participants in the parade.
"We had 23 entries this year, from the restoration group through to the kinder, primary school and technical college," Ms Murdie said.
"Right at the end of the parade we got some showers but it should fine up for the rest of the weekend.
"There are lots of activities still to come across the weekend, with the restoration group, the miniature trains and the kart club in Grayland Street will all be open on Sunday."
