The 24-year-old, who was traded from Brisbane to the Swans for pick 48 on Wednesday afternoon, took to social media to offer his gratitude to the Lions and state his excitement for his move.
"Been one hell of a journey with the Brisbane Lions over the past six years," he wrote on Instagram.
"Can't thank them enough for the opportunity they've given me. So many great people and fantastic supporters along the way that have been behind me, so thank you.
"Now looking forward to the next chapter at the Sydney Swans. Can't wait to get started and meet everyone, bring on 2020."

The speedy midfielder, who played 112 games and kicked 88 goals across six years, missed just three games in his first five seasons before playing just five matches in 2019 after falling out of favour and being pushed out of a vastly improved Brisbane side.
The Terang Mortlake product's former captain Dayne Zorko took to Instagram to pay tribute to his departing "brother".
"(This is the) hardest time of year no doubt. Thanks for the memories and everything you have done for me personally and our football club," Zorko wrote.
"You will be missed by everyone but I wish you nothing but the best at Sydney and can't wait to see you smash it there!! Love ya brother."
Thomas Berry also directed his thanks to the 2014 Rising Star winner in a social media post.
"Thanks for looking after me in my first year 'Squizzy', enjoy the new club. You'll be missed brother," he said.
