This weekend, the town will come alive with live music, activities, workshops, competitions, demonstrations and, of course, the famous street parade and the duck race.
Committee member Misty Angus is thrilled the festival has coming together to show off the best of Cobden.
"We wanted to bring something different to this year's festival, but not lose the crowd favourites," she said.
"So we asked our community what they wanted and as best we can, we have tried to make it happen. We think we have achieved this, and are anticipating a great attendance from our community, and many visitors."
For the first time, the Cobden Spring Festival has a King and Queen to oversee the jam-packed events and the weekend coincides with another town celebration.
"Don't miss seeing the festival's first ever King and Queen in the parade. We hope King 'Pies' Malone and Queen Alma MacDonald will add a royal touch to the festivities," Ms Angus said.
"As our way of joining in the Cobden Technical School's 50th anniversary celebrations our parade theme is 'Education through the ages', so we have invited the school's first students to be special guests in our parade.
The festival kicks off on Friday night, with a special edition of Spring Festival bingo at the Cobden Bowling Club and then continues with the junior fishing competition at Lake Cobden.
