The reinvigorated program will feature festival favourites, as well as new activities, workshops and competitions.
"We wanted to bring something different to this year's festival, but not lose the crowd favourites," committee member Misty Angus said.
"We asked our community what they wanted and as best we can, we have tried to make it happen. We are anticipating a great attendance.
"Don't miss seeing the festival's first ever King and Queen in the parade. This is as a response to the question 'When walking down Curdie Street, who do you think of?'."
The festival kicks off on the Friday with a special edition of Spring Festival bingo at the Cobden Bowling Club, then continues at Lake Cobden - aka "The Dam" - with the junior fishing competition from 5.30pm.
Start Saturday with Brekky in the Street from 9.30am followed by The Lady Bugs (live music), dancing with Dance Struck, markets and food stalls, workshops, demonstrations and activities galore, plus more music from 1pm with Avalon.
Kids' entertainment includes The Mik Maks, Farmyard2Backyard, bouncy castles, merry-go-round, ceramic painting, face painting, build-a-bucket showbags, clowns and much more.
Festival favourites, the famous street parade and the duck race, return, alongside new photography, gnome painting and plant-a-pot competitions.
This year's festival coincides with the Cobden Technical School's 50th anniversary.
"Our parade theme is 'Education through the Ages', so we have invited the school's first students to be special guests in our parade," Misty said. "Considering how far and wide they're spread we've been delighted with the response."
On Saturday night there is a two-course meal at the South West District Restoration Group rally in Grayland Street, with bookings essential on 0408 104 912.
Sunday on the Green will feature market stalls, food, music, a pet parade, gumboot toss, Pioneer Park open day and motor show, historical society displays and a butter-making demonstration.
The miniature trains, mini golf, SWDRG displays and spring rally, kart club swap meet and colour blast are all in the Grayland Street vicinity.
Cobden Golf Club will host the inaugural Swing into Spring ambrose day, while Cobden Orchid Club's annual show will be Saturday and Sunday in the Civic Hall, Victoria Street.
For something more relaxed a Springy Sunday Session with Tristan Ross at Thommo's Hotel should fit the bill.
"With more events and activities than we've ever had, it's sure to be a jam-packed three days of fun," Misty said.
