A 30-year-old Colac man was arrested by Colac police on Friday and he is now assisting officers with their inquiries.

There was a plea for assistance late last month and footage released of the incident taking place in Camperdown's Commercial Hotel.
Members of the public were quick to respond and the man was identified after reports of the brazen theft on Tuesday, September 24.
The heist happened at 5.50pm at the Commercial Hotel in Manifold Street.
The offender entered a service area and removed cash from a drawer.
The suspect was described as being of medium build, with strawberry blond hair, wearing blue jeans and a two-tone hoodie - black hood and shoulders and grey body and arms.
