Wilde has earmarked the $1 million Thousand Guineas to be run at Caulfield on October 12 for Ginny Ann but Saturday's race will be a stepping stone to the group one classic over 1600 metres.
Ginny Ann scored an impressive victory at her racecourse debut at this year's Warrnambool May Racing Carnival before an unplaced performance in the group three National Stakes at Morphettville in May.
She resumed with a second placing in a restricted race at Sandown on September 4. Wilde anticipates Ginny Ann to run a cheeky race in the 1400 metre race on Saturday.
"I thought this race is ideal going forward to the Thousand Guineas," he said.
"She's trained on very well after her first up performance. I'm thinking she will hit the line strongly at the end of the 1400 metres.
"The 1600 metres of the Thousand Guineas should be ideal for her third up in this preparation."
From her three starts Ginny Ann has picked up $90,000 in stake money for her connections. Inn Keeper is Wilde's other runner on the big nine race program at Caulfield.
Fellow local trainer Daniel Bowman is chasing his first group one success when Begood Toya Mother runs in the $500,000 Rupert Clarke Stakes.
