South Warrnambool's Mia Mills and Georgia Gilmour are two best friends in pursuit of premiership glory.
The duo harbours hopes of a Roosters' 13 and under flag - but must first tackle junior powerhouse Koroit on Saturday.
Mills and Gilmour - who also play basketball in the same side - said synergy away from netball helped their on-court combination.

"It definitely helps for us because we work generally in the same part of the court, so we know where each other is going to be," Mills said.
"It helps us read off each other."
The pair was wary of Koroit's goalers and said it was vital for South Warrnambool defenders to play well.
"They've got a really tall goalie and our defenders will just have to work around that and talk," Mills said.

"It makes it really important for us to be communicating throughout the court."
The 13 and under decider will be both Mills and Gilmour's first netball grand final.
Mills said excitement was palpable at Friendly Societies Park. "Hopefully we can come out on top," she said.
