Police have released images of a man alleged to have stolen fragrances from a Warrnambool chemist over two consecutive days.

Senior Constable Tammy Barry, from the Warrnambool police divisional tasking team, said the male offender attended Chemist Warehouse at Warrnambool's Gateway Plaza on August 19 and 20.
She said he attended the fragrance section on both occasions, selecting a fragrance and removing the packaging before concealing the item.
He then left the store on both occasions without making an attempt to pay.
The man was captured on CCTV wearing a white hat and a black and white FILA branded jumper.
Police have released the images in the hope of identifying him.
