The 62-year-old will be on the sidelines cheering on Koroit as the club attempts to win its sixth consecutive Hampden football league flag.
The Saints take on North Warrnambool Eagles and have a good chance of backing up last year's premiership win, according to Mr Pimblett.
"If they play like they did against North last time they've got a good shot - they stunned North," Mr Pimblett said.
"But you never know on the day."
Mr Pimblett has been an avid supporter of the club since the age of 17 and was a trainer for many years.
"There was a trainer who I used to work at Nestle with," Mr Pimblett said.
"I went into the rooms and he said 'do you mind going and getting me a bag of ice'. I went and got it and he said 'put that on that bloke's ankle' and that was it."
Mr Pimblett has fond memories as a trainer when Koroit won a reserves premiership against South Warrnambool.
"South were going to be premiers and champions - they had all the stuff printed and then we came out and won by a goal," he said.
Mr Pimblett is a life member of the club and said while he stood down as trainer some years ago, he does what he can for the club.
"I never miss a game and I help out as much as I can," Mr Pimblett said.
"I love it. If I can keep breathing and walking, I'm going to be here."
Mr Pimblett said one of his fondest memories was when Koroit defeated Camperdown in the 2003 grand final after being down by about eight goals under the leadership of Jason Mifsud.
"Bill Quinlan, Shane Quinlan's uncle said 'we're going to win this'."
Mr Pimblett said he didn't believe him at the time and became quite irritated by a Camperdown fan standing nearby who insisted on gloating early on.
"There was this bloke from Camperdown standing near us and he got on his phone and said to someone 'you better light the barbecue because we've got this'. Later on this same bloke rang up and said 'you better turn it off - we lost.
"I was so happy that I jumped straight over the fence without hitting it."
