The beautiful two bedroom property on Jukes Street was opened to the public on the weekend, for Sustainable House Day.
Owners Lydia Hohl and Peter Kartsounis purchased the home in early 2017 and Fiona Golding, from Live Architecture, helped design the environmentally-friendly renovations.
The property has double glazed windows, underfloor insulation, external wall insulation, solar panels and roof insulation.
"The house was basically gutted," Mr Kartsounis said.
"The builder started in October 2017 and finished up in May 2018."
The home also boasts hydronic heating, and Ms Hohl said it was a fantastic addition.
"It's like walking into a warm pool," she said.
"Our last place had central heating and it was dusty and noisy. There are so many houses around like this one, it just shows what you can do with them."
