Bowman has set Begood Toya Mother for the group one Rupert Clarke Stakes at Caulfield but the popular trainer will also enter the five-year-old as a back-up in the group three Bill Ritchie Handicap at Randwick.
"I'm just a bit worried we may not make the field in the Rupert Clarke so we'll put an entry in for the Bill Ritchie," he said.
"I want him to run in the Rupert Clarke - that's the race we've targeted him at for the last few weeks. My biggest concern is his rating may not be high enough to get a run in the Rupert Clarke.
"His rating is what it is. We can't do a thing about it now. It's out of our hands. I'm really happy how Begood Toya Mother is after his run in the Memsie Stakes.

"He ran sixth in the Memsie and has tightened up really well since that performance. I'll take him to Casterton on Monday morning for a track gallop.
"He'll gallop with a stablemate over 1000 metres on Monday and that should really tightened him up for this Saturday. He should be cherry ripe for either Caulfield or Randwick this Saturday."
Bowman purchased Begood Toya Mother for $28,000 as a yearling and the son of Myboycharlie has won nearly $300,000 in prizemoney with seven wins from of his 12 starts.
