It was a day to remember for North Warrnambool Eagles who flew into the second senior football grand final in their history on Saturday.
The Eagles bounced back from their second semi-final defeat to beat Warrnambool 12.11 (83) to 7.7 (49) in the preliminary final at Friendly Societies' Park.
They will play Koroit in the grand final next weekend.
In the open netball, Koroit ensured its chances of a hat-trick of flags remained a chance, beating Warrnambool 51-46.
The Saints will face Cobden in the decider.
