A Warrnambool man, 26, has been remanded in custody charged with punching his partner to the face, thefts and breaching bail.

Acting Sergeant Benjamin Timpson, of Warrnambool police, said the on Thursday the man went to a Coles supermarket where the man put $100 worth of cosmetic down his pants and walked out without paying.
He returned later and stole frozen food valued at $20.
Police were called and arrested the man.
He was already wanted for questioning in relation to an assault on his partner in the past couple of months.
It's alleged they argued before he punched her to the face, causing a black eye and significant swelling to her forehead at their Grafton Road home.
The man was also on bail for the thefts of electrical items from The Good Guys in July.
He was charged on Thursday with breaching bail, thefts and assault and will appear in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court today for a bail/remand hearing.
