Nine students have been practising their dance routines for the past several months.
Teacher Kaye Hawkins said the ball was open to students in year 10 and 11.
"They're all very excited," she said.
On Thursday a number of students said they were excited about dressing up for the night, but wouldn't reveal what they were wearing - instead choosing to keep it a secret until Saturday.
Ms Hawkins said members of the public were welcome to attend the event.
The ball will be held at St Pius X Hall on Saturday night.
Doors open at 7pm, with tickets available at the school.
