The front is forecast to cross Victoria on Thursday as another high develops over the Bight.
Another cold front will cross Bass Strait later on Friday before the next high pressure system drifts just north of the state during Saturday.
The next few days we are expecting top temperatures in the mid to high teens before possible showers late Sunday.
But, in Warrnambool it was a cool start.
