Police are currently speaking to a number of juveniles over the Peregian Beach blaze that has destroyed at least two homes and is still burning out of control south of Noosa.
The fire began about 4.30pm on Monday and spread with astonishing speed, with 400 people holed up in evacuation centres across two local government areas.
