Allansford captain Andrea Coffey paid homage to coach Chantelle Quigley for her role in Saturday's B grade decider against Russells Creek.
The experienced Cats held off a fast-finishing Russells Creek to record a four-goal victory.
"I think for us it's about the team. Our coach, Chantelle, has been a part of the Allansford club since she was about three, I think," Coffey said.
"No one deserves this more than her and we really did it for her."
Coffey revealed it was vital her side honoured its game plan and kept cool under heavy fire.
Both sides were deadlocked at seven goals apiece at the first break before Allansford broke away in the second and third quarters.
Creek managed a 10-goal final term to bring the premiership back within reach but Allansford held firm.
"We've lost against them twice this season, and we knew they would just keep coming and coming and coming," Coffey said.
"The important thing for us was to play a slow game. That's our game and they play quick. We had to show composure and just keep chipping away."
No one deserves this more than her and we really did it for her.

The wing defence said her side was made up of "great people".
"It's Allansford people, great people," Coffey said.
"We're an older group, we're all above 30. We're mums and we're just people that love Allansford.
"B grade as a whole is only a game you play if you love the club, you're not there for the glory. We're just there for each other."
