The 26-year-old will line-up on a half-back flank in Saturday's senior grand final against Nirranda.
O'Sullivan was dropped for the Power's 2017 grand final team and he's also played in numerous losing deciders with the club.
"I think I've played in six losing grand finals," he said.
"Yeah I know about the hardship."
But O'Sullivan is keen to turn the tables in his first senior grand final.
"They don't come around very often so I'll make the most of this one," he said.
O'Sullivan, who has played just about all his football with the Power, said the group had enjoyed a great season.
"As far as the team goes, we've gelled really well together, everyone gets along well," he said.
The backman is looking forward to playing alongside his brothers Harry and George.
"Yeah definitely we're looking forward to it, along with a few cousins too," he said.
"Hopefully we'll get the job done."
O'Sullivan's cousins in the side are Jason Moloney, Ben O'Sullivan and Nick Bourke.

"There are a lot of us and we're all pretty similar, everyone probably gets sick of us," he said with a laugh.
On the other side of the boundary line he'll be supported by an army of family members.
His grandfather Brian O'Sullivan will be among all the extended family willing the Power along.
Meanwhile, cousin Sam Moloney will be on the sidelines as assistant coach and uncle Paul O'Sullivan is the club president.
"It'll be good for everyone just to get together in one place," he said.
"Hopefully they'll enjoy the day."
O'Sullivan, who works for an earth-moving company in Mortlake, said Nirranda was a well-coached outfit.
"They've got some really good players and they're dangerous up forward," he said.
"Hopefully we can match them across the ground."
O'Sullivan, who notched up his 100th senior match this season, said he played on Aaron Searle when the teams met earlier this year.
Searle has been named as an emergency for the Blues for the grand final.
