It was a week to remember for Warrnambool, with the Blues' footballers celebrating both an 89-point win over Portland and a 100-goal milestone for star forward Darren Ewing.
The club's netballers also had a day out, thumping Portland by 35 goals. Warrnambool's win, and North Warrnambool Eagles' shock one-goal loss, meant the Blues leapfrogged the Eagles into third place.
Back at the footy, Adam Dowie's North Warrnambool Eagles flexed their muscle to shoot down South Warrnambool by 55 points.
Equally as impressive was Port Fairy, who thumped Hamilton Kangaroos by 60 points. The Seagulls' win spoiled coach Matt Dunn's final match at Melville Oval.
Cobden secured an upset win over arch-rival Camperdown by just two points.
The Bombers' netballers spruiked their premiership credentials with a 19-point win over Camperdown.
