Zoe Fleming - the daughter of former Dogs mentor Sue - stood tall in defence in Saturday's qualifying final triumph over Merrivale.
Bolden described Fleming as "the future of the club".
"The (experienced) girls have lifted her, and obviously she has the talent, but they've given her the belief," the first-year coach said.
"She has the confidence in herself now and that she can match it with anyone that comes up against her.

"That's pleasing. She's the future of our club. A lot of the girls are nearing their time but it's exciting to see a 16-year-old girl take on the game."
Fleming has paired with Kristie Bolden in Dennington's defensive circle this season.
Dogs captain Sarah Jacobs echoed Bolden's praise for Fleming and her ability to handle nerves on court.
She said the Dennington's experience would help in managing finals pressure.
"It's important being able to hold your nerves and use them in a good way," Jacobs said.
Dennington faces Nirranda on Saturday.
