Services were called to the Emeny Street address after 5pm to reports of a house fire.
A CFA spokeswoman said firefighters were able to get the blaze under control within a minute of arriving.
"The fire is isolated to the stove and there are three trucks still on scene," she said at 5.40pm.
A Warrnambool CFA member said there appeared to be minor smoke logging in the ceiling space.
