Simon Sedgley, 49, of Morack Avenue, Warrnambool, pleaded guilty in Warrnambool Magistrates Court to intentionally damaging property and behaving in a riotous manner in a public place.
On May 23 Sedgley attended Hairhouse Warehouse on Warrnambool's Liebig Street about 4.30pm. He yelled and swore at four different staff members.
He appeared alcohol affected and aggressive.
He continued to swear at the victims before punching a gumball machine at the entrance of the store, causing the glass to crack.
The staff members called police who located Sedgley drunk on Lava Street. He was arrested and conveyed to the Warrnambool police station.
Sedgley told police he couldn't remember attending the hair salon but there was a chance he committed the crimes.
"When I'm drunk I'm a prick. I'm not proud of myself at all," he told police.
In court Sedgley said he would like to apologise to the people involved.
"I've done the wrong thing so I'll wear it," he said.
"It would have been intimidating and not nice so I apologise to those people."
Sedgley was convicted, fined $1200 and ordered to pay for the cost of repairs to the gumball machine.
