The mother of three earnt high praise from the judges, who described her pole dancing routine as "enchanting" and "unlike anything" they'd ever seen.
Ms Sellars, who now lives in Ballarat, said it was a nerve-wracking experience but the crowd was very supportive.
"They were very excited and loud, which made it a great experience as a performer," she said.
Ms Sellars said she was overjoyed to learn she had made it through to the semi-final and had ramped up her training.
"I've never trained so hard in my life as I'm training right now.
"I know that this is a once in a lifetime chance and I want to do the absolute best I can and be proud of the effort I put in when I look back," she said.
The semi-final episode will be screened on Channel 7 next month.
