WARRNAMBOOL trainer Daniel Bowman has issued a word of caution for punters before they back his star galloper Begood Toya Mother in the listed $140,000 Regal Roller Stakes at Caulfield on Saturday.

Bookmakers have installed Begood Toya Mother as $2.80 favourite in the early betting markets but Bowman said the price was short for a horse running in his first listed race.
"I would probably have to say the $2.80 is a bit short for a horse having his first run in black type company," he said.
"I don't set the betting markets I'll just stick to training the horses.

"Begood Toya Mother deserves a crack at a listed race after winning five consecutive restricted races.
"He hasn't put a foot wrong winning his last five. He's gone through his classes and the Regal Roller was the race which suited him.
"Begood Toya Mother is going to the races in great shape for his first-up run."
Begood Toya Mother's stablemates Working From Home and Labuan Star also run at Caulfield.
Working From Home resumes in a $125,000 mares race for Bowman while Labuan Star runs in a restricted race over 1100 metres.
Irish-born jockey Declan Bates has the ride on Working From Home, whose allotted weight is 58kg.
The powerful training combination of Ciaron Maher and David Eustace has numerous runners on the nine race program including Cliff's Edge and Kenedna in the Group Two $200,000 Lawrence Stakes and Ken's Dream in the Regal Roller.
Aaron Purcell accepted with Guizot and Snoano while fellow Warrnambool trainer Symon Wilde runs Forbid Me Not in a restricted race over 1100 metres.
Jarrod McLean, meanwhile, saddles up Trap For Fools and Bryan.
