The British music legend said it would be nice to be back in Warrnambool after enjoying a curry last time he was in the city.
"I can't call the tour Just a boy at 70 any longer because in May I got to the ripe old age of 71, but it is basically the same tour," Sayer said.
Sayer said although he was starting to feel his age, his appearance was still youthful.
"I still seem to have this energy that wakes up on stage though," he said.
"I guarantee you by the third number I've got the whole audience on their feet and they know I'm there,
"I don't take any prisoners during a show."
Sayer said the show would be a mix of his hit songs, plus a range of songs from his four decade career.
Leo Sayer will be on stage for his Just a boy 2019 tour on December 1 from 8pm. Tickets are on sale at the Lighthouse Theatre or via the website.
