The supermarket was closed this morning due to a fire alarm fault.
At 8.30am: It's hoped the Coles supermarket in Lava Street Warrnambool will be open by 11am.
Fire alarm issues have led to the store being closed this morning.
At 7am: A faulty fire alarm is understood to be the cause of the central Coles supermarket in Warrnambool being closed this morning.
Just before 7am notices were posted on the doors of the supermarket that the store was closed due to technical difficulties - the fire alarm will not turn off.
At the time it was 10.2 degrees and felt like 4.9.
Today the south-west is expecting a partly cloudy day. There's a high (70%) chance of showers this morning.
Winds will be west to north-westerly 20 to 25 km/h turning south-westerly in the morning then becoming light in the early afternoon.
Warrnambool is expecting a top of 14 degrees, Hamilton 13, Colac 13, Ararat 14, Casterton 13, Mortlake 14, Heywood 14, Portland 14, Port Fairy 14, Terang just 11 and Camperdown 11.
A weak cold front will cross the state today. A ridge of high pressure will move eastwards across the state tonight and early Saturday as a stronger cold front crosses the Bight.
This cold front will sweep across the State on Sunday, leaving a cold, unstable westerly airflow in its wake on Monday and Tuesday.
Saturday Warrnambool is expecting 15 before more showers and tops between 11 and 13 until Wednesday before it fines up later next week.
