The Saints welcome back key defender Damian O'Connor from a three-week suspension along with Tim McPherson (back) and Tim Martin (cut finger).
Forward Jarrod Korewha, who missed with a cut to his knee that required stitches, also returns.
Coach Chris McLaren, who will again coach the Saints in 2020, said Daniel Harrington, Jayden Whitehead, Thomas Lynch and Frazer Robb were unlucky to be omitted.
"It was weight of numbers with those three key backs coming in this week," he said.
"We have got a a lot of depth in that area so it's pleasing to have a need to call on them again."

Port Fairy welcomes back one star while another is set for a rest ahead of another finals campaign.
Playing coach Dan Nicholson and midfielder Matt Pitt return with star onballer Kaine Mercovich (rested) and Josh Dwyer (Rebels) the Seagulls' omissions.
Sam McCartney will play his first game since round nine in the reserves after recovering from a knee injury.
Assistant coach Winis Imbi said it was pleasing to see the key forward returning.
"It's credit to him as he has worked diligently in his rehab," he said.
"It's exciting for us because we haven't seen him play since the Hamilton game and he has missed almost half a season of football."
Hamilton Kangaroos will unveil two debutants in its clash with North Warrnambool Eagles, who welcome back two high-profile stars.
Riley Alexander and Cameron Whyte have been promoted from the under 18.5s and reserves to play their first senior game in the white and blue.
"Cam has been consistent over the last month in the reserves and his training form has been good and he deserves his opportunity," Kangaroos coach Matt Dunn said.
"Riley has had a terrific season at under 18 level and he has probably been unlucky that it has taken this long to get an opportunity."
Jarrod O'Brien (broken finger) and Brady Hicks (ankle) will both miss the critical clash against the Eagles.
Adam Dowie's side will be bolstered by the inclusion of former AFL stars Michael Barlow and Billie Smedts, who slot into the Eagles' starting midfield.
Jarryd Lewis and Thomas O'Leary also return for the ladder-leaders while Sam Slattery, Jye O'Brien and Mitchell Bowman are omitted from the side that went down to the Seagulls by nine points.
Other notable inclusions for round 17 include Matt Arundell, Paul O'Connor (Terang Mortlake), Paddy Anderson, Charlie Bradshaw (South Warrnambool), Tom Ludeman and Sam Wilson (Warrnambool).
