Numbers eased this week at Camperdown, with 345 head yarded for the regular buying group.
Quality was average with the yarding mostly dairy bred cattle and cows making up the majority of the penning.
Beef bred heifers sold at 270c, with the D3 types making from 243c to 245c and the dairy types selling to 205c/kg.
Cows sold similar for the better covered types, with the plainer types in each category easing from 10c to 20c/kg.
Numbers consisted of 261 cows, 49 heifers, seven steers and 24 bulls.
The D2 vealers sold to the trade at 200c, while the yearling heifers sold at 185c, with restockers paying 214c/kg.
Medium weight steers sold at 255c, with manufacturing steers making 240c and beef bred grown heifers making to 270c/kg.
The D3 types sold from 243c to 245c, with the others making from 160c to 205c and restockers paying to 195c/kg.
Heavy 3 and 4 score beef bred cows sold at 260c, while the light D2 and D3 scores made from 200c to 230c/kg.
Heavy dairy bred cows sold from 225c to 250c, with the 2 scores making from 200c to 250c and the 1 scores from 158c to 200c/kg.
The E1 cows sold at 146c, with light weigh E2 cows making 160c while the plainer 1 scores sold from 100c to 111c/kg. Restockers paid from 170c to 205c/kg for cows.
Bulls eased this week, with heavy beef bulls selling from 240c to 294c, while the C muscle types made from 246c to 264c and the dairy bulls sold from 214c to 250c/kg.

Sheep numbers from Victoria rose by 2000 head to see 3769 sheep and lambs offered online on AuctionsPlus last week.
Droves of sheep continue to head south, as Victoria dominates the online market, seeing 18,000 head bought by southern operators.
Sheep offered from Victoria saw a large offering of composite ewe lambs from Dunkeld, with a top price of $177 for Sept/Oct '18 drop future breeders. Merino ewes from Victoria sold to a top of $231 for a line of Sept '18 drop ewe lambs.
Prices for Merino wethers and wether lambs remained steady across the platform.
Wether lambs sold from $70 to $148 to average $120, while grown wethers sold from $95 to $160, averaging $128. Woolgrower wethers were popular and highlights included one vendor from Nullamanna, NSW who offered 1294 head averaging 37kg to average $124 which will travel to Wycheproof, Victoria and Inverell, NSW.
CATTLE
Cattle numbers from Victoria dropped to see 172 head offered online.
PTIC cows and heifers sold nationally from $800 to $1700 to average $1079.
Prices were firm on the previous week, and supply continues to outweigh demand.
Cows with calves at foot were once again in tight supply, with 376 head being offered and a 77 per cent clearance nationally.
Across the eastern states, prices ranged from $1000 to $2020 to average $1451, up $311.
From Peterborough, a line of Angus cows and calves made the top price of $2020.
Selling from 266c to 377c nationally, steers weighing from 200-280kg averaged 317c, up 13c.
Steers weighing from 280-330kg sold from 271c 364c to average 322c, down 5c.
Highlights include Shorthorn weaned steers from Goondiwindi, Queensland weighing 310 kg and selling for 310c to a buyer in Casterton.
Angus weaned steers from Mangoplah, NSW weighing 313kg and selling for 365c to a buyer in Korumburra.
