WARRNAMBOOL export Nathan Sobey welcomed the newest member to his family on Monday.
The Australian basketballer, who is preparing to represent the Boomers at the FIBA World Cup, announced the arrival of Harley through his instagram with the caption "our little princess".
Congratulations flowed in for the Brisbane Bullets recruit and his wife CC, who have been together eight years after meeting at college in the United States.
Australian swimmer Kyle Chalmers said "congratulations legend" while Adelaide Crows footballer Hugh Greenwood showed his support with three green heart emojis. Former teammate Anthony Drmic also sent his congratulations to the couple.
The Sobey's will be well supported by Nathan's mum Kerrie and CC's mum Charlotte, who arrived from America on Sunday, during a whirlwind period.
The Warrnambool born-and-bred Sobey is settling into life in Brisbane but basketball will take him to Perth, Melbourne and China in the next four weeks.
Australia has warm-up games against Canada in Perth on August 16-17 and against the United States in Melbourne on August 22 and 24.
The Boomers fly to China on August 26 and play their first world cup game on September 1.
