If you need a caffeine hit on Friday, your purchase could help some of the region's most vulnerable people.
Warrnambool cafe Rough Diamond is supporting a community initiative called Cafe Smart and $1 from every coffee sold will go towards tackling homelessness.
The money raised will stay in the south-west with the majority to go to Brophy Family and Youth Services.
Rough Diamond owner Henry Bird said the cafe had participated in the day before and last year the initiative raised $500.
He hopes that amount can be beaten today.
"The aim of the day is to help support homelessness," Mr Bird said.
"We have rostered more people on to work.
"It's usually a fun day.
"People have been very generous and some have already made donations.
"If we can beat our target that will be great."
Mr Bird encouraged workers to pop in for a coffee with their workmates.
He said people could also phone in their orders and then drop in to pick them up.
