South Warrnambool trio Cooper Atchison, Flynn Atchison and Fraser Marris, Warrnambool's Patrick Rea and Portland's Toby Jennings represented the Ballarat-based school against Mentone-based St Bede's College.
St Patrick's College lost 5.10 (40) to 3.10 (28) at Sandringham's Trevor Barker Oval.
St Bede's took a 10-point buffer into half-time but St Patrick's was just five points down at three-quarter-time in a low-scoring contest.
Cooper Atchison, who is playing senior football for Ballarat league side Redan in 2019, was the Hampden league's only year 12 representative.
His younger brother Flynn Atchsion, Marris, Rea and Jennings are all year 11 prospects who can play for the Ballarat boarding school again in 2020.
