The folk festival has announced its grants for 2019, with groups from across the Moyne Shire sharing in the bounty.
Groups funded included the Port Fairy Tennis Club ($10,000), South West Equitation Club ($372.50), Macarthur Swimming Pool ($5,000), Commonwealth Sheepdog Trials ($1,000), Hawkesdale P12 College ($1,000), Port Fairy Football Netball Club Fun Run ($2000), Belfast Aquatics ($5000), Koroit Irish Festival $2300).
This comes on top of a $50,000 donation made from the festival to the Port Fairy Golf Club in June.
Port Fairy Folk Festival treasurer Bernie Waixel said he was happy with the grants allocation.
"There is a good variety of projects from across the district which is always pleasing," Mr Waixel said.
"Adding these projects to the donation we already made to the golf club means we are playing an important role in the community."
