Quality was similar to last week's sale, again with some very well finished trade lambs on offer, mainly weighing in the 20-24kg area.
Not all the regular buyers attended or operated fully in a firm market for trade lambs, which were still making approximately 1,000c/kg cwt for the better finished 3 and 4 score lambs.
There was little or no competition coming forward from restocking and feeders this week.
Light weight 12-18kg lambs, 1 and 2 scores, sold from $135 to $155/head.
The medium 18-20kg reinforce scores made from $155 to $228/head and was still making from 950c to 1,000c/kg cwt.
The heavy weight 22-26 lambs made from $230 to $280/head, averaging from 950c to 1,000c/kg cwt.
Extra heavy 4 score lambs topped at $286/head.
Sheep numbers were similar to that of last week.
The good selection of heavy crossbred ewes and merino mutton was mainly 1 and 2 score and sold to a softer trend than last week, being 10c/kg cwt cheaper.
Light 1 in 2 scores sold from $68 to $140 and the medium weight 2 and 3 scores made from $120 to $158/head.
Extra heavy sheep of 2 and 3 scores made from $52 to $250/head.
4 score shorn merino weathers made $85, as crossbred mutton averaged 620c, back 10c and merino mutton averaged 580c, less 10c/kg cwt as well.
Hoggets made to $195/head.
Rams sold from $117 to $140/head.
