A cyclist has been hit by a car in Warrnambool and taken to hospital in a serious condition.

Warrnambool police Acting Sergeant Don Camilleri said the cyclist was struck on Saturday morning on Raglan Parade.
"The driver failed to give way," Acting Sergeant Camilleri said.
"The cyclist has been taken to hospital with facial injuries and a suspected collar bone injury."
He said investigations into the incident were continuing and the driver could be fined.
An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said paramedics were called to the incident at 9.23am.
"Ambulance officers attended to a report of a cyclist who had been struck by a car," the spokeswoman said.
"We assessed a man believed to be in his 20s. He had a head injury and he has been taken to Warrnambool Base Hospital in a serious condition."
Police, CFA and Ambulance Victoria attended the scene and Warrnambool Fire Brigade confirmed it washed the area clean around 10am.
