A Mad Hatter's tea party was one of many events that punters at the final Port Fairy Winter Weekend, with organisers hailing the series of four weekends the best yet.

Coordinator Michelle Brereton said it had been great for the town and locals and tourists flocked to events.
"Our event holders and sponsors - local businesses and retailers - have been absolutely fantastic," she said. "We are very fortunate to have their support. Our committee of 14 volunteers have done an amazing job, it's an all year round effort.
"We are looking to be bigger and better next year. We have a list of people who want to come and host events in 2020."
The fourth event saw people flocking to an array of activities including a popular record swap meet, farmer's market, morning yoga and art and creativity workshops.
Characters from the much-loved Lewis Carroll novel Alice in Wonderland were out in force at St John's Church Hall on Friday and Sunday afternoons, for the Mad Hatter-themed high tea.
Buskers also took to the street as late night shoppers snapped up a bargain on Friday evening. The winner of the $500 busking prize was Butterfunked The winners will also enjoy a master class with former local busker, singer-songwriter Flynn Gurry, who was a judge on the night.
